The Admin Office was founded in 2026 with a clear purpose: to provide specialist virtual admin support for the local small businesses, charities, community organisations, and voluntary groups of South Wales, the people doing vital work in our communities, often with too little resource and not enough time.
With over 20 years of professional administration experience and a long track record of supporting third sector organisations, including writing successful grant bids. The Admin Office brings a level of expertise and sector knowledge that sets it apart from generalist Virtual Assistant services.
We understand the capacity challenges of small businesses, how charities work, the pressures of trustee governance, the complexity of funder reporting, and the importance of getting grant applications right. We have lived and worked in South Wales communities for years, and we care deeply about the organisations that hold those communities together.
Our services are delivered entirely virtually, which means we can support organisations anywhere in Wales and beyond. But our roots, and our heart, are firmly in the South Wales Valleys.

The Admin Office was founded by Amanda, a professional with over 20 years of administration experience and a specialist background in the third sector, including extensive experience writing successful grant bids and supporting voluntary organisations at every stage of their development.
Alongside her is Co-Founder, Laura — born and raised in the Rhondda Valley, with a background in administration and the care sector. Laura's experience supporting people at their most vulnerable gives both her and The Admin Office a deep understanding of the values that drive third sector organisations, and a genuine commitment to the South Wales communities they are proud to serve.
